Driveway Cleaning

A Dark Driveway Can Make the Whole Property Look Older

The driveway occupies too much of the view from the street to disappear into the background. When rain, shade, traffic, and organic growth leave it dark or patchy, the entire entrance can look tired before anyone reaches the front door.

We clean the quoted surface from the street apron toward the home so the driveway looks more even as a whole. Before you schedule, we review the material, existing finish, stains, drainage, and service boundaries, then put the included work, separate treatments, relevant limitations, and price in writing.

WHY THE CLEANING METHOD MATTERS

Your Driveway Should Look Better, Not Show How It Was Cleaned

A driveway can be cleaned and still look wrong. Uneven passes can leave stripes and missed areas. Excessive pressure can damage painted or sealed finishes, mark concrete, and disturb the joints between pavers. The process must cover the full quoted area consistently without ignoring the surface underneath the buildup.

Consistent Across the Entire Driveway

Overlapping passes and a deliberate cleaning pattern help prevent the obvious lines, light spots, and missed areas that make a freshly cleaned driveway look uneven.

Appropriate for the Finish

Bare concrete, painted surfaces, sealed driveways, and pavers do not respond the same way. Treatment, pressure, and agitation are adjusted to the material, finish, and existing condition.

Care Beyond the Driveway

Garage doors, painted walls, landscaping, adjoining surfaces, and drainage can all be affected by the work. We account for them before cleaning begins rather than treating the driveway as an isolated slab.

Before We Arrive

Move Vehicles Off the Driveway

Keep the driveway and street apron clear. Move any vehicle you may need out of the garage before cleaning begins.

Clear the Cleaning Areas

Remove trash bins, mats, hoses, toys, decorations, planters, and other portable items from the driveway and included walkways. Leave anything heavy or unsafe to move in place and point it out before work begins.

Make Water and Access Available

Make sure a working exterior water spigot is accessible. Unlock any gates we need, close the garage door and nearby exterior doors, and keep pets indoors while we work.

Plan for the Final Walkthrough

You do not need to stay during the cleaning. When possible, be available near completion so we can review the finished driveway together.

Driveway Cleaning Questions

How soon can I use my driveway after cleaning?

Once the cleaning is complete and our hoses and equipment are removed, the driveway can be used normally. Driveway cleaning does not apply a coating or require curing time.

Will rain affect my appointment?

Light rain does not necessarily prevent driveway cleaning. Heavy rain, lightning, standing water, or conditions that prevent safe runoff may require rescheduling. If the weather changes the plan, we will contact you.

Will driveway cleaning remove oil, rust, or irrigation stains?

Standard driveway cleaning removes organic growth and general surface buildup. Oil, rust, irrigation staining, and other specialty stains require separate evaluation and treatment. Complete removal may not always be possible.

Can painted concrete, sealed driveways, and pavers be cleaned safely?

Yes, when their condition allows. The method depends on the coating, sealer, joint condition, and existing damage. We review those conditions before including the surface and explain any relevant limitations in writing.

How much water will you use, and how much will it add to my water bill?

Water use varies with the size and condition of the driveway. For a typical residential driveway, the added water and sewer cost is usually less than $5.
